St. John’s Health
System continues to embrace a leadership role in promoting
medication safety. Our ongoing efforts to ensure medication safety
are evident throughout our integrated health system.
Examples
include:

John’s Medication Safety Committee.
Our dedicated committee develops strategies for safe medication
use, monitors medication use practices throughout the hospital, and
provides ongoing medication safety education to physicians, nurses
and pharmacists.

Department.
We established a permanent department with three full-time
co-workers dedicated to working with front-line hospital co-workers
to promote medication safety practices. |
