Concierge Services
Automotive service and dry-cleaning are available through the
Co-worker Store as well as UPS service, fax and
computer/Internet access.
Discounts
Many area businesses offer St. John's employees substantial
discounts on their products and services in appreciation for the
commitment to the communities St. John's provides service. Each
year employees are given discount cards outlining the names and
addresses of participating businesses.
Seasonal discount tickets are available to area amusement parks,
sporting and theatrical events. These have included but aren't
limited to Six Flags, Worlds of Fun and St. Louis Cardinals.
Co-worker Store
St. John's co-workers can improve their wardrobes by purchasing
attractive clothing boasting the St. John's logo. Inventory changes
monthly, and often includes shirts, caps, bags and
sportswear. Employees can purchase pizzas to go, pick up a
gallon of milk, stamps, rent a movie and purchase or order
online items such as diapers, wipes,
stethoscopes, bandages.

Trips
Special getaways allow groups of co-workers to spend leisure
time together with their families and enjoy discounted travel
and accommodation costs. Past trips have included cruises and
all-inclusive trips to Mexico.
Sporting Events
Co-workers can participate in competitive or "just for fun"
volleyball, basketball and softball leagues. Team with your
co-workers or mix it up with employees from other departments to
catch that winning spirit.
Individual sporting events include annual golf and fishing
tournaments.
Events
The annual Co-Worker Appreciation & Service Awards Banquet
recognizes employees reaching service marks of 5, 10, 15, 20,
25-year and beyond milestones at a celebration dinner and
ceremony. Special entertainment and a recognition video
highlight this event, which attracts more than 1,000
co-workers.

Mercy Appreciation Week: Mercy Day is a celebration of the day Catherine McAuley
founded the Sisters of Mercy in 1831. During Mercy Appreciation
Week each employee receives a gift from the Sisters and a
reminder of why Catherine's legacy is so important.
Retirees Luncheon:
All St. John's retirees are invited to reminisce with former
co-workers at this annual lunch and recognition event.
Retirees are treated to an update on current St. John's
happenings and rewarded with a gift for their years of
service.
Perfect Attendance
Recognition:
Full-time co-workers with perfect attendance records annually
are awarded 10,000 MercyPoints. Part-time co-workers with
perfect attendance are awarded 5,000 MercyPoints.
Picnic: Every year, our employees and their families get together at one of the largest employee picnics in the
Ozarks. Nearly 20,000 people attend the annual event, which
features games and food, as well as music and activities for
people of all ages. In recent years, the Co-worker Picnic has
been held at
Celebration City in Branson. |
