St. John’s trainer
presents at national conference
Jim Raynor, Director of St. John’s Sports Medicine, recently presented
at the American Academy of Pediatrics national conference in Washington
D.C. He was the first athletic trainer to present at the national
meeting as part of a lecture exchange between the American Academy of
Pediatrics and the National Athletic Trainers Association.
James Buckner, Jr., D.O. joins St. John’s Clinic-Rogersville
Dr. Buckner received his medical education from A.T. Still University of
Health Sciences/Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed
his residency training with the Scottsdale Healthcare Family Medicine
Residency Program in Arizona. He is a member of the American College of
Osteopathic Family Physicians.
New Disaster Preparedness Director at St. John’s Hospital
Russ Conroy has accepted the position of Disaster Preparedness Director
at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield In addition to his new role, he
will retain oversight of St. John’s Foot and Wound Clinic, Asthma and
Diabetes Education, and remain as chairman of the Internal Review Board.
Russ has served in a variety of leadership roles since joining St.
John’s in 1983.
New director of St. John’s Labor and Delivery
Christine Clemmons recently accepted the position of nursing director
for St. John’s Hospital labor and delivery unit. Christie has worked in
labor and delivery since 1993 to the present time in Arkansas and
Missouri. She has been with St. John's since 1995 and for the past four
years served as assistant nursing director in labor and delivery. She
has her BSN from University of Arkansas.
