Sunshine Run October 8, 2005

St. John’s
will host the 26th Annual Sunshine Run Oct. 8, 2005 on the St. John’s
campus in Springfield. Events include the Murney Associates 5K run at 7:30 a.m.,
followed by the St. John’s Sunshine Run 10K at 8:15 a.m. and the KTXR one-mile
“Walk with the Giant” at 8:30 a.m.
During and
after the race, participants and spectators can join activities for the whole
family, including entertainment, refreshments, safety education and shopping at
the Sunshine Wellness Village. The Village is open 8-11 a.m. on the St. John’s
south parking lot near the starting line.
Registration
forms are online at
www.stjohns.com/sunshinerun2005/default.aspx but must be submitted prior to
midnight Oct. 5. Same day registration is available, but at increased cost.
Entry fees are as follows: $15 for adults until Oct. 7, $20 race day; $10 for
youth ages 12 and until Oct. 7, $15 race day; $35 for family of three until Oct.
7, $50 race day; 440 for family of four until Oct. 7, $60 race day; and $45 for
family of five until Oct. 7, $70 race day.
