Edwards receives distinguished service award

Jo Anne Edwards, MEd, MT (ASCP), administrator for St. John's Health System Laboratory Services, was presented with the American Society of Clinical Pathology Board of Registry’s 2004 Distinguished Service Award during the Board of Governors Luncheon in San Antonio, Texas. Edwards served as chair of the ASCP-BOR and provided the necessary leadership to implement several pivotal governance changes for the BOR. She has also been elected to serve on the ASCP Board of Directors.
