St. John’s Clinic Force for Good Tools for School Summer Campaign 2007 results in

St. John’s Clinic physicians and co-workers presented a check for $75,000 to Victory Mission to help purchase school supplies for 5,000 area children. Supplies were distributed at back to school events in Springfield, Aurora, Berryville, Lebanon, Mountain View and Rockaway Beach.

In the Rolla area, physicians and co-workers raised more than $20,000 for Missouri Ozarks Community Action (MOCA) and St. James Caring Center for the purchase of Wal-Mart gift cards and school supplies for school children in those communities.

St. John’s Clinic Force for Good was established in 2003 as a way for St. John’s Clinic physicians and co-workers to address concerns in the communities St. John’s Clinic serves. A fund within St. John’s Foundation for Community Health, Force for Good has raised more than a half-million dollars to benefit programs such as Ozarks Food Harvest, The Kitchen, Child Advocacy Center, Family Violence Center, CASA and clothing banks in Rolla and Springfield.
