St. John's Foundation for Community Health Pro-Am at Price Cutter
Charity Championship
St.
John’s is a lead sponsor for the annual Price Cutter Charity Championship
to help raise funds for area children’s charities. In addition, St. John's
Foundation for Community Health hosts a pro-am tournament whose proceeds
benefit St. John's Children’s Hospital. This year’s pro-am will take place
July 16 at Twin Oaks Country Club. If you are interested in participating,
call 417-820-6111. Last year’s St. John's Foundation for Community Health
Pro-Am had 30 teams and raised $41,000 for St. John’s Children’s Hospital
programs.

St. John's Clinic Force for Good Tools for School Summer Campaign May
15 – July 15
St.
John's Clinic semi-annual Force for Good charity fundraising campaign has
chosen Springfield’s Victory Mission as its summer recipient.
The goal is to raise $50,000 for Victory Mission’s Back To School program,
which provides school-aged children in grades K-12 with free school
supplies and clothing vouchers. Last year over 2,500 children from
Springfield and the surrounding communities went back to school with
self-confidence and the right tools for learning.

Annual St. John's Sunshine Run – October 13
Hammons Field (Downtown Springfield)
Events on Oct. 13 begin at 7:30 a.m. and include the St. John's 10K;
Murney Associates 5K and the KTXR 1-mile Walk with the Gentle Giant.
Proceeds benefit St. John’s Burn Center, Breast Cancer Foundation of the
Ozarks and Springfield Public and Catholic schools.
Last year, 1,729 people participated in the three events.

$16,546.71 – For St. John's Burn Center
$1,198.93 – For Springfield Public and Catholic High Schools
$10,858.89 – For Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks
