Ways You Can Help
¢ Cash
and Checks
Outright gifts provide immediate support to St. John’s Foundation for Community
Health. For many of our donors the
ease of giving cash or by personal check made payable to St. John’s Foundation for Community Health
is the preferred method of giving.
Please indicate the account you would like your gift designated and
mail to:

You may also make your gift online.
¢Tribute gifts
Tribute gifts or memorials
are given in honor and remembrance of special people and significant
occasions in life. Gifts may be made in honor of a loved one, a nurse or
physician. Gifts also may be made in memory of a loved one's birthday,
anniversary or a holiday such as Memorial Day. Tribute gifts may be directed
to any fund, and an acknowledgement of the gift will be sent to the family of
the person being remembered or to the person being honored.
Mercy Society
Individuals, businesses, foundations and organizations which make a
minimum commitment of $25,000 in cash, securities, or real or personal
property to St. John’s
Foundation for Community Health, usually in payments of $1,000 or more
annually, meet the criteria for membership in The Mercy Society.
Additionally, membership is extended to those making planned gifts through a
bequest, life income agreement, trust agreement, or another acceptable
planned or deferred giving instrument with a value of at least $25,000 based
upon a formula including life expectancy, the consumer price index, and the
type of deferred gift.
Through careful planning, donors can support our mission, bringing
healing and care to many in our community and region. Besides outright gifts of cash, appreciated
securities donors might wish to look into the benefits from deferred gifts –
including bequests, life insurance policies, and trust arrangements.
¢ Create a living trust or annuity
Consider naming St. John's
Foundation for Community Health as the beneficiary to your living trust or
create a charitable gift annuity. Both options will pay an income for life to
you or a loved-one and benefit the Foundation.
¢ Giving
through life insurance
There are several ways to give a gift to the St. John's Foundation for Community Health
through existing life insurance policies you may own.
¢
Stocks and other highly appreciated assets
You can give by way of transferring stocks and other assets or investments
you currently own.
¢ Giving
through a will
This is a good option for people who are not able to give immediately or for
people want to continue to help make a difference for future generations.
