St. John’s Hospital-Aurora was founded in 1959 and is licensed for 25 beds. The hospital became part of St. John’s Health System in 2001 and is accredited by The Joint Commission.

Rooted in the missions of Jesus and the healing ministry of the church, our mission is to provide high quality, compassionate health care services in a personalized Christian environment.  We seek to improve the health and quality of life of communities we serve, with particular concern for people who are economically poor.
