St. John’s Hospital is honored to present the David D.
Miller, M.D. Memorial Symposium. Dr. Miller was a leader in surgical care
and regional surgical education until his untimely death in November 1988.
Dr. Miller was regarded as a gifted surgeon, a professional
dedicated to surgical care and medical education, and a friend to those
around him.
This symposium is sponsored by St. John’s Hospital and the
David D. Miller, M.D. Memorial Symposium Fund as a tribute to this
exceptional individual. It is our hope that through this symposium the
dedication toward medical education shared by Dr. Miller will continue
throughout the region. The David D. Miller, M.D. Memorial Symposium is
designed for physicians and other health care professionals practicing in
the pre-hospital, emergency medicine or intensive care setting.
