St. John’s operates a fleet of 52 ambulances, Supervisor Response Vehicles and a trailer equipped for mass casualties and special operations.

Safe operation is paramount and each ambulance is equipped with a “Road Safety” driving performance computer that provides immediate feedback to our drivers.

The field staff receives education in driving standards and maneuvers before operating St. John’s ambulances. Our goal is to reduce external forces on the vehicle, providing a stable environment for our EMTs and paramedics to care for patients. In order to create a smooth transition to meet the patients’ health care needs, an extensive fleet maintenance program assists in minimizing mechanical difficulties.
