Audiologists

The audiologists of St. John's
Clinic-Ear, Nose & Throat have doctoral degrees in audiology.Our
audiologists are Fellows of the
American Academy of Audiology. They hold the Certificate of Clinical
Competence in Audiology from the
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
This certification demands
strict guidelines pertaining to the content and amount of clinical
experience required. Missouri licenses our audiologists through both the
Board of Healing Arts in Audiology and the Board of Examiners for Hearing
Instrument Specialists.
St. John's audiologists
provide complete audiological care in a new, state-of-the-art facility. Our
audiologists work with the patient, the patient's family, friends, other
health care providers and/or educational, vocational or industrial
professionals, to provide complete hearing and balance care for all ages. We
are the largest clinical audiology group in southwest Missouri with many
specialized programs, including cochlear implants.
Trudy
Baker, Au.D., CCC-A, is a native of Springfield
and has been with St. John’s Clinic-Ear, Nose and Throat since 1987. Dr.
Baker specializes in pediatric diagnostic services and hearing aid
dispensing for pediatrics and adults.

Shari
Norval, Au.D., CCC-A, returned to St. John’s
Clinic-Ear, Nose and Throat in April 2000. She had previously been with St.
John’s from 1984 to 1996. Dr. Norval specializes in diagnostic services and
hearing aid dispensing for pediatric and adult patients.

R. Barber, Au.D., CCC-A, is a native of
Springfield and joined St. John’s Clinic-Ear, Nose and Throat in August
2002. Barber specializes in balance assessment, diagnostic and hearing aid
dispensing for both pediatric and adult patients.

Megan
L. Widger, Au.D., CCC-A, is a native of Springfield and joined St.
John’s Clinic-Ear, Nose and Throat in December 2006. Prior to joining St.
John’s she provided clinical audiology services in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Widger specializes in diagnostic services,
hearing aid dispensing, and balance assessment.

Mamie
Tally, Au.D., CCC-A, joined
St. John's Clinic-Ear, Nose and Throat in September 2006. Dr. Tally has
been a member of the Springfield community since 1990. She has been a
strong advocate in our community for the early detection of hearing loss for
infants and children. Dr. Tally specializes in the diagnosis of pediatric
hearing loss and is a member of the St John’s cochlear implant team.
